Why we love Bear Lake in the quiet season

Summer gets the crowds. Winter gets the quiet. The town slows down, and you can sit on the deck with coffee and have the view to yourself.
- Beaver Mountain ski area is about 25 minutes up Logan Canyon.
- Snowmobile trails run through Logan Canyon and into Idaho, with rentals in Garden City.
- Bear Lake Monster Winterfest happens at the marina across the street in late January or early February.
